(Special Events, Athletics Events and Tickets Sales)
All BSA sponsored activities must be advertised utilizing the BSA web site
and Inside PNNL, use of PNNL Lab Web or hard copy flyers is optional. Ticket
sales for BSA sponsored activities are based on a first come first serve
basis.
Due to the numerous events the BSA offers and it's mission to make them
available to all staff equally, the following guidelines must also be adhered
to:
- Small venue activities; less than 45 tickets in size must:
- Advertise a minimum of 3 weeks prior to the event date and advertise
the event as a lottery in the initial advertisement.
- Utilize a lottery drawing for ticket distribution if the demand during
the first 10 days of sales exceeds supply
- Hold ticket sales distribution until after the 10-day purchase window.
- Set the ticket price on a cost recovery basis. The BSA subsidy may cover
incidental snacks and/or a maximum of $10 off the total individual package
cost to BSA.
- BSA ticket prices MUST be sold at face value OR less.
- Do not subsidize alcoholic beverages.
- Large venue activities in size must:
- Advertise a minimum of 3 weeks prior to the event date.
- At a minimum have tickets sales available from a Receptionist.
- Set the ticket price on a cost recovery basis. The BSA subsidy may cover
incidental snacks and/or a maximum of $10 off the total individual package
cost to BSA.
- BSA ticket prices MUST be sold at face value OR less.
- Do not subsidize alcoholic beverages.
